Responsibilities

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration : Work closely with project managers and the existing technical team (automation, mechanical, software, electrical) to develop advanced material handling systems for automating the storage, transport and management of garments on hanger for globals e-commerce platforms.
• System Development and Prototyping : Play an active role in system development, involving both computer-aided design work and hands-on experimentation in the company’s dedicated laboratory to test and optimize GOH handling equipment and subsystems.
• Technical Project Management : Handle end-to-end automation tasks, including programming industrial programmable logic controllers (PLCs), managing networking components, and overseeing the design of electrical panels and controls.
• Collaborative Innovation : Actively participate in brainstorming sessions for the project, contributing to idea generation and problem-solving.
• Mechanical Design : Occasionally collaborate with mechanical engineers to assist in the development and design of the system’s mechanical components.
• Validation and Testing : Lead the site acceptance testing (SAT) phases at the client’s location to ensure compliance and performance.
• Commissioning and Support : Carry out system commissioning and provide ongoing technical support as a key resource for the efficient operation and optimization of installations.
• Versatility and Adaptation : Take on various related tasks to support project progress, adapting strategies and techniques as needed to meet team objectives.
