Are you known for your computer skills and enjoy formatting long, complex documents? Our client, a well-established professional services firm, is looking for a skilled Document Formatting Specialist to join its layout and desktop publishing team.

This position offers the opportunity to work 100% remotely, so work from home or at the cottage because you will be teleworking!

YOUR ROLE :

The ideal candidate is a documentation technician specializing in documentary information who organizes and manages, according to rigorous methods, all categories of documents for different teams.

You will see to the preparation, production and layout of large documents.

You will be responsible for :

  • Transcribe dictations, handwritten notes or other forms;
  • Write, format and review all documents from professional teams or internal administrative services;
  • Ensure accuracy of requested revisions by verifying formatting, spelling and grammar in both English and French with rigour and thoroughness;
  • Use the advanced features of Microsoft Office, Acrobat and other desktop applications to convert styles, insert media into presentations, create tables and use graphics;
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations and organizational charts;
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and developments in document production;
  • Update the template bank.

SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • DEC in documentation techniques;
  • Experience required in a position where you have handled large technical documents with complex layouts;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint advanced / expert level;
  • Ability to manipulate graphics and images;
  • Good learning ability and desire to maintain proficiency in computer tools and software;
  • Autonomy, attention to detail and strong proofreading, spelling and grammar skills in both French and English.
