Adecco is currently hiring a part-time dedicated Maintenance Worker to join our client's automotive dealership team in North York, ON.
The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the dealership's facilities are clean, safe, and in optimal working condition.
This role includes maintaining the premises, conducting routine facility inspections, and performing basic repairs and upkeep of dealership equipment and property.
- Pay Rate : $23 / hour
- Location : North York, ON
- Shift : 7 : 30am - 5 : 00pm (3 days per week)

Responsibilities :
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the dealership's facilities, including the showroom, service bays, parking lots, and office areas.
- Keep all areas of the dealership clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing common areas.
- Carry out basic repairs such as fixing light fixtures, door locks, plumbing issues, and other small maintenance tasks as needed.
- Maintain dealership equipment, including HVAC systems, air compressors, lifts, and tools in service areas, ensuring they are in proper working order.
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment, tools, and general building conditions to ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, maintenance tools, and other necessary inventory items.
Qualifications :
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in facility maintenance, custodial work, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, snowblowers, and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical condition, with the ability to lift heavy items and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
