Job Summary

This Company is seeking an experienced ElectricalTechnician (Manufacturing) to join the Mechanical Services ShopsDepartment (MSSD) in Abqaiq within the Planning and TechnicalServices Division.

The ideal candidate will have handson experiencein the manufacturing industry particularly in understanding andreviewing manufacturing drawings of spare parts used in rotatingequipment.

Key qualifications for this roleinclude excellent experience in CNC 5Axis machining and cuttingtools along with proficiency in relevant programming CAD and CAMapplications such as NX Siemens and SolidWorks.

Candidates withexperience in the field of reverse engineering are highlypreferred. Additionally candidates should possess the ability totrain and develop other young technicians.

MSSDoperates stateoftheart workshops and facilities which are poweredby its skilled and experienced workforce. The departments primaryresponsibility is to maintain This Companys rotating and stationaryequipment.

It plays a crucial role within the company providingessential support to all field organizations by maintaining andrepairing corporate equipment.

Responsibilities :

• Provide technical support for spare partsmanufacturing of rotating equipment including process selectionmanufacturing plans and CAM programming.
• Offertechnical consultation to Shops Operating Repair Units andContractor Shops.
• Support field installationmaintenance and repair of rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot repair and modify existing equipmentidentifying cost reductions and process improvements.
• Prepare design engineering packages for rotatingequipment.
• Perform technical investigationsfor shop repair return jobs to identify root causes of failurecorrective repair actions and lessons learned.
• Introduce the latest technology in manufacturingmethodology.
• Develop and revise departmentaltechnical procedures and standards.
• Providecoaching and knowledge sharing to junior engineers qualityinspectors and technicians.
• Offer technicalinput for purchasing specifications including technical proposalevaluation.
• Liaise with Department engineersConsulting Services Department (CSD) other This Company Departmentsand manufacturers.
• Coordinate with InHouseRepair Units Quality Assurance units InKingdom Contractors vendorsand manufacturers in developing evaluating and implementing shoprepair work scopes.
• Participate in vendor andcustomer exchange meetings.

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Associate Degree inElectrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 yearsexperience in the manufacturing field as outlined in the positiondescription.
• Experience in the mechanicaldesign and manufacturing of major rotating equipment such as gascompressors steam turbines pumps diesel engines andgearboxes.
• Experience working on rotatingequipment with original equipment manufacturing facilities orequivalent certified repairing facilities.
• Excellent English reading and writing skills.
