The Marketing Area within the DeGroote School of Business invites applications for the following teaching position to be offered in the 2025 Fall session.

This foundation course introduces the basic principles and frameworks of marketing emphasizing the importance of a focus on the customer.

Preferred Qualifications :

A Ph.D. in Marketing with demonstrated teaching excellence at McMaster or another university in a relevant subject area, or a Master’s degree with a focus on Marketing and more than 5 years of related managerial / professional experience and two years teaching experience.

Required Qualifications :

Senior (at least fourth year) PhD student in Marketing in an accredited doctoral program with relevant subject matter expertise, or a PhD in Marketing, or a Master's degree in a relevant subject and 3 years of managerial / professional experience in marketing or a related business function.

Wage Rate

• : The DeGroote School of Business offers a pay rate commensurate with qualifications and related teaching experience in a range from $8,600 to $9.750. The exact rate of pay is determined at the sole discretion of the employment supervisor, according to standard evaluation criteria.
