Commercial Services Officer

- Working hours 6 am to 2 pm @ 37.5 hours per week
- Remote position - in office 2-4 times per month
- Training will be done in-office during regular 9-5 hours

The Commercial Services group streamlines and guides how we invest in and harness technology for Commercial. The team modernises manual processes while addressing pain points and focusing on initiatives to improve internal and external customer experiences.
We see Commercial Services as the engine room with a focus on post-deal tasks such as invoicing, trade finance, shipping and laytime.

The objective of the role is to be a key team member within the Non-Bulk Atlantic Commercial Services team and take ownership of the administration of contracts for the Aluminum products
The person that will fill this role will :
- Perform day-to-day Commercial Services operations such as contract and sales order entry, shipments and invoicing in SAP for aluminium products
- Participate in process improvement initiatives that can bring additional value to our internal / external stakeholders
- Comply with standard-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure customer and contract obligations are fulfilled
- Participate in troubleshooting of process issues and bottlenecks
- Participate in month-end reconciliation activities
What you will need for the role
To succeed in this role, you will have :
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work in a multi-product environment and standardise processes
- Adaptability to change and evolving deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
