Summary / Objective

The Big Data / BI Analyst is responsible for integrating data from multiple, designing enterprise-level models, integrating, cleansing, transforming, and analyzing data, developing dashboards and reports.

Essential Functions

• Leverage Big Data and BI and Analytics platforms to design, build, deploy and maintain Big Data and BI solutions (e.g. tabular models, reporting tools, data integration solutions)
• Debug, monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms
• Create tools to store data (e.g. relational database, tabular models)
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
• Collaborate with local and headquarter teams to integrate systems
• Develop and execute database queries and stored procedures
• Analyze and cleanse data
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
• Effectively present BI solutions to end users and stakeholders and provide training
• Optimize and enhance business intelligence processes and systems to help make better decisions
• Lead requirements gathering and review sessions
• Translate business needs to technical specifications
• Develop and update technical and user documentation
