Sailun Tire Americas – Big Data / Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Reporting To – BI Manager

Fluency in Mandarin language is a requirement

Summary / Objective

The Big Data / BI Analyst is responsible for integrating data from multiple, designing enterprise-level models, integrating, cleansing, transforming, and analyzing data, developing dashboards and reports.

Essential Functions

Leverage Big Data and BI and Analytics platforms to design, build, deploy and maintain Big Data and BI solutions (e.g. tabular models, reporting tools, data integration solutions)
Debug, monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions
Maintain and support data analytics platforms
Create tools to store data (e.g. relational database, tabular models)
Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
Collaborate with local and headquarter teams to integrate systems
Develop and execute database queries and stored procedures
Analyze and cleanse data
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
Effectively present BI solutions to end users and stakeholders and provide training
Optimize and enhance business intelligence processes and systems to help make better decisions
Lead requirements gathering and review sessions
Translate business needs to technical specifications
Develop and update technical and user documentation

Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in SQL languages, such as T‑SQL and MySQL. Proficiency in SSIS, Data Warehouse modelling, and skilled in data quality assurance and data governance.

Proficiency in Apache Doris Massively Parallel Processing (MPP), Apache Impala.

Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Data Warehouses and Data Marts.

Strong knowledge of data warehouse design principles (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining.

In‑depth understanding of database management systems, SSAS Tabular models and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) framework, DAX language.

Understanding Big Data related technology architecture, such as Hadoop, Hive, and Impala.

Knowledge of Enterprise ERP (such as Navision, SAP), its functions and business modules interconnection.

Excellent communicator, able to communicate effectively with business and technical groups.

Ability to operate effectively in a team environment and independently.

Required Education and Experience

BSc / BA / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field

Minimum 1‑2 years’ experience as a BI Developer / Analyst or Data Scientist and proficiency in Power BI and related tools and languages (DAX, SSRS).

Experience in BI analytical and visualization tools (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, PowerPivot) and Excel

Proficiency in SQL queries and procedures, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), data analysis, validation, data cleansing tools and processes

Fluency in Mandarin language is a requirement
