When you work with Optima Living you will feel welcomed, supported, motivated : Reporting to the Director of Care or designate, and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the RN / LPN will work closely with other front line team members to provide high quality care and services to residents.

The RN / LPN supports the team they work with in creating a warm, respectful, positive, safe, supportive culture for our residents, their families and other team members.

As part of their role, the RN / LPN ensures care and services provided to the residents aligns with organizational polices, care standards and regulations.

Please note the shift is a Night Line - Hours : 11pm - 7am Responsibilities : The ability to take initiative; able to work independently and energized by developing the skills and abilities of others both inside and outside personal area of expertise Demonstrate the ability and temperament to deal tactfully, effectively, and cooperatively with residents, family members, contract agencies, team members, leadership, and visitors Lifetime learner, quick study, and able to communicate and teach new concepts to others Driven toward quality outcomes in all disciplines.

Ability to implement and support quality improvements and organizational quality initiatives Embraces and supports person centered care, holistic care, and resident personhood The ability to support all team members who provide resident care and services Understanding and ability to demonstrate advocacy What you will need to succeed : Qualified Registered Nurse (RN) Qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Minimum of 1 year experience in residential care is considered an asset An equivalent combination of experience and qualifications acceptable to the facility Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong computer literacy Conducts oneself in a professional manner Demonstrates and supports the Vision, Mission, and Values Energetic, positive, a natural leader who has the personal skills to motivate, encourage and support team members Possesses the physical capabilities required for this role Conditions of Employment : Clear Vulnerable Sector Check Powered by JazzHR
