Regulatory Compliance Requirements

• Requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software, technology or technical data controlled under the Canadian Export Control List, the ITAR or the EAR.
• Requires a positive Controlled Goods assessment as you will have direct access to hardware, software, technology or technical data controlled under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
• Required to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance at the NATO Secret Level.

Position Summary

Thales is looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to support its Non‑Combatant In‑Service Support Programs for the Royal Canadian Navy. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for engineering support of electrical and electronic systems including but not limited to marine electrical power generation and distribution systems, electric propulsion systems, controls and communications systems. This support consists of planning, overseeing and executing engineering tasks within time and cost constraints to meet the Key Performance Indicators in accordance with Thales quality and commercial guidelines.

The reference Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between 82,593.60 – 137,756.00 CAD annual.
