Water & Wastewater Operator / OIT

Scope of Position

Clearford is seeking several skilled and licensed Water and Wastewater Operators and Operators-in-Training (OIT’s) for several locations in our Hubs across Ontario, in Mount Forest, Wingham, Goderich, Hanover and surrounding areas and regions.

As a member of the Operations team the Water / Wastewater Operators and OIT’s contribute to the successful operation and maintenance of Water Treatment, Water Distribution, and Supply sub-systems, as well as other Wastewater Treatment and Wastewater Collection systems operated by Clearford. They will perform essential services to the public and ensure that all applicable legislation, regulations and guidelines are adhered to.

What We Offer

• OIT Rate – $20 to $24 per hour.
• Operator Rate – $25 to $30 per hour.
• Overtime Rate – 1.5x regular hourly rate (Calculated Weekly).
• Statutory Holiday Rate – 2x regular hourly rate, for hours worked on a statutory holiday.
• Weekly Standby Rate – For working on-call rotation.
• Company vehicle for business use for eligible candidates, or;
• Vehicle allowance for those who use a personal vehicle for business use.
