As a division of the Resources and Digital Transformation Service Unit, the department supports the IT infrastructure services.
Our mission is to provide the group’s business divisions with secured infrastructures. This includes, but is not limited to, hosting business applications, offering cloud solutions, and managing connectivity and digital workplace requests, all while contributing to the group’s digital transformation efforts.
As our department is growing, we are looking for team players, invested people who are interested in bringing new ideas and perspectives.
The Network department (HCS) provides network and network security services and expertise to all main network environments (routing, switching, firewalls, ).
The Network experts in Canada are working to maintain a good level of services on highly critical environments in AMER, Europe and Asia, and accompany business partners on their needs.
You will be part of a team of engineers focusing on network administration and working in an Agile environment (scrum).
What will be your day-to-day?
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
Supporting technical projects, including involvement from local and global application, infrastructure, governance, and client teams.
Projects you will be involved in include : The implementation of DNA in the campus. The deployment of ACI in core data centers.
- Providing level 2 operations support.
- Monitoring during business hours.
- Daily morning check reports communication.
- Operational process & documentation improvement.
- Handle incident management, request management and change management.
- Detection and communication during business hours, as well as during on-call non-business hours.
Profile
Skills and qualifications :
Must have :
- 3 to 5 years of experience in data network operations
- Knowledge in ITIL - IT infrastructure management best practices.
- Strong operational skills, adept at prioritizing multiple requests or incidents.
- Demonstrated adaptability to varying work environments and changing circumstances.
- Preferred experience in exchange or investment banking settings.
- Willingness to participate in on-call schedules, including overnights and weekends (approximately once a month).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches, including BGP and OSPF.
- Familiarity with Spanning-tree, HSRP, VLAN, LACP, NAT, Nexus platform, VPC, VDC.
- Knowledge of CCNP.
- Experience with Wifi (Cisco WLC, Cisco Prime) and NAC (Cisco ISE, .1x).
- Familiarity with IOS XR, multicast, MPLS, and understanding of load balancing (Netscaler, GTM).
Nice-to-have :
- Knowledge of Cisco ACI or willingness to learn it.
- Unix system management & scripting capability : Python & Ansible, GITHUB.
- Fortinet, Checkpoint & Cisco ASA Firewalls.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, DEC or equivalent technical certifications.
Languages : French, English.
