MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS :

DEC in electrical engineering (industrial electronics technology) or DEP in electromechanics of automated systems or DEP in industrial design;
Have at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Job description :

The industrial electrical and instrumentation design technician reports to the manager of the electrical / instrumentation discipline.

Their main tasks are :

Under the supervision of an engineer, design and draw layout and arrangement plans for electrical equipment and cable trays;

Under the supervision of an engineer, design and draw single-line diagrams, control diagrams and diagrams interconnection;

Model and coordinate elements in 3D models;

Participate in interdisciplinary design and coordination reviews;

Adapt drawings according to customer specifications and requirements;

Apply the quality assurance process to deliverables.

Selection criteria :

Have an excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D software;

Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D software (considered an asset);

Knowledge of REVIT software (considered an asset);

Knowledge of AGI32 software (considered an asset);

Knowledge of the BIM common data environment (considered an asset); asset);

Good knowledge of the Office 365 suite (Word, Excel);

Good knowledge of low-voltage electrical distribution;

Good team spirit, attention to detail, meticulousness, autonomy, etc.;

French (English would be an asset).
