Position Title : Portfolio Manager
Location : Montreal, Quebec
Charton Hobbs is one of the largest privately-owned wine and spirits agency in Canada. This position is based in the Montreal office and will be responsible for portfolio and marketing activity primarily in Quebec. This position reports to the Marketing Director. We are seeking a qualified candidate that is capable of :
Competitive Analysis & Market Intelligence :
- Build and review competitive sets by brand and track quarterly activity; provide quarterly reviews for key brands including market trend updates, competitive activity summaries, and brand performance highlights; identify overall portfolio and brand opportunities through the creation and analysis of quarterly marketing reports
- Supervise monthly actual vs. forecast tracking with logistics and adjust Latest Estimates (LE) as necessary based on market and brand performance trends
Strategic Brand Planning & Execution :
Management / Administrative Responsibilities :
The ideal candidate will be bilingual, university trained with a Bachelor degree in Marketing or equivalent discipline and / or a minimum of 3-4 years experience as a marketing manager of a large beverage alcohol portfolio or other important consumer products. Candidates must have completed second level or greater wine / spirits education courses and have a demonstrated passion for the wine and spirits industry.
Salary commensurate with experience, plus annual bonus and group benefits. Business related expenses are also covered. Some travel is required.
