Responsibilities

• Prepare internal financial statements for the company.
• Coordinate with external auditors.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor various budgets.
• Optimize and supervise the month-end closing process, prepare monthly financial statements, and analyze budget variances.
• Supervise accounts payable, invoicing, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Manage liquidity and maintain current liquidity forecasts.
• Identify potential subsidies to enhance company operations.
• Collaborate in developing financial performance indicators (KPIs).
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on key performance indicators.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls, policies, and processes, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures based on best accounting practices to ensure effective departmental management.
• Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, banks, and other third parties.

Qualifications

• CPA designation
• 2 to 5 years experience
• Bilingualism an asset
• Experience in team management
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Great Plains an asset.
