Job Description : Gas Plant Operator Location : Fort St. John, BC Schedule : 7 days on / 7 days off, 12-hour shifts Overview : We are seeking dedicated and skilled Gas Plant Operators to join our team in Fort St.

John, BC. This position is ideal for individuals who are committed to safety, have a strong work ethic, and are enthusiastic about contributing to the efficient operation of our gas plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities : Monitor and control plant equipment and processes related to gas treatment and processing. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure smooth operation.

Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Record and report operational data accurately. Collaborate with team members to optimize plant performance. Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.

Qualifications : High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum Fourth Class Power Engineering certification would be an asset.

Experience in a gas plant or related industrial environment preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a 7 on / 7 off rotation. Commitment to safety and environmental standards. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
