The Opportunity :
Reporting to the Territory Manager, this position is responsible for a wide variety of tasks both inside and outside. These duties may consist of hands-on activities as they pertain to our Cardlock and Branch locations.
This position plays a vital role in the supporting of our site operations.
Responsibilities :
- Supporting the daily site maintenance of our cardlock locations
- Rental asset maintenance
- Warehouse support
- Packaged and bulk lubricant deliveries
- You will spend approx. 75% of your day outside, so must be comfortable working outdoors.
- Attend monthly staff meetings and all safety meetings.
- Minor repairs to equipment
- Other job-related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Requirements :
- Minimum license Class 5 with air brakes, Class 3 would be an asset
- Abstract must be in good standing
- Mechanical aptitude an asset
- Comfortable doing daily maintenance work at the cardlock sites
- Good verbal communication skills with a passion for customer service
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Willing to work in the elements, as much of this work is performed outside
- A team player possessing good communication and organizational skills
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 50lb
- The ability to apply good common sense and safety skills to any situation
- First Aid Training would be considered an asset
- Previous WHMIS, Dangerous Goods and Spill Response training an asset
