Job descriptionWork with the rest of the structures crew to perform structural MRO work for our customers fleet and their 3rd party customers in an efficient and cost-effective manner Complete work orders and internal repair job cards as required with accuracy and attention to detail Provide guidance and assistance in training and coaching of Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Other duties as directed by the Structures Crew Chiefs, Coordinator and PRM Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license AME S license, Minimum 2 years’ work experience on sheet metal structures Clear and proven commitment to safety (for yourself and others) in line with our “Safety First” Value Ability to multitask, prioritize, and carry out advanced sheet metal repairs in a fast paced and safety sensitive environment Excellent communication skills, ability, and desire to work in a close-knit, team-based environment Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently Willingness to work flexible schedules Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks Understanding of metallic structures and metal processes and properties required Ability to lead and mentor structures apprentices Aircraft structures experience on DHC-2, DHC-3(T) and DHC-6 an asset Manufacturing experience an asset
