Salary range : $132,000 – $147,000 (base salary)

Position Overview

Ontario Tech University invites applications for a tenure‑track Assistant Professor position in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. The role is subject to budgetary approval and will start on July 1, 2026 (or sooner if filled). The successful candidate will work within the Faculty of Business косметик & Information Technology in a technology‑enhanced learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct active and innovative research in analytics and AI within supply of business and the wider economy.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including but not limited to Business Applications of AI, Fundamentals of AI for Business, Intro and Advanced Business Analytics, Data Visualization, Data‑Driven Decision‑Making, Designing AI Systems, and AI in Business and Society.
• Integrate new technologies and AI into pedagogy and curriculum design.
• Maintain a retaining 40% research, 40% teaching and 20% service workload each year.
• Attract tri‑council funding and engage in leading‑edge research with colleagues and students.
