Position : HR Assistant

Our client, a major distributor of construction hardware and products, is looking for an HR Assistant to join their dynamic team!

Your profile :
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual to communicate with employees in other provinces, strong level in French preferred
Your role :
- Respond to emails received in the general HR inboxes and handle cases according to established procedures whenever possible or forward them to the appropriate person
- Ensure proper routing of forms requiring approvals
- U pdate a document and prepare associated communication for dissemination to all divisions
- C onduct background checks on candidates before preparing the employment offer documents once the file is complete
- Prepare necessary documents for team members to adequately facilitate the onboarding and integration of new employees
- Receive documents signed by employees that need to be compiled in their virtual files before being sent to the payroll department for filing
- Assist the team in the administrative management of various other HR matters, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, occupational health and safety, labor relations, training, and others
