Sandwich Maker

Overview

Performs preparation, assembly and packing of sandwiches and other food‑related products while maintaining safe working conditions and following Food Safe Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assembles food service items as per standard recipe.
• Maintains productivity and efficiency levels.
• Uses weighing scales for weight checks when required.
• Records QA documents in real time.
• Packages and labels prepared product for distribution.
• Clears and prepares fresh produce items.
• Sanitizes all equipment and fixture surfaces per provincial and company standards.
• Performs daily sanitation of the facility.
• Follows the allergen policy.
• Performs daily checks of critical control points and records information as required by SOPs.
• Maintains high standard of personal hygiene, Good Manufacturing practices and follows regulations for food safety and quality.
• Lifts up to 20 lbs.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Physical Effort & Working Conditions

Lift, bend and twist. Consistently lift 20 lbs. Stationary position in cold environment up to 4‑hour periods.

Management / Planning

May assist in training new staff.

Pay

$16.00 – $18.00 hourly.
