Heavy Equipment Field Technician

Overview

Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Field) at Cooper Equipment Rentals Limited

We are looking for customer-oriented, motivated individuals to join our professional team in Canada, with consideration for relocation to London, ON as needed. Applicants should be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and maintain a diverse fleet of construction equipment including earth-moving equipment, compaction equipment, and aerial equipment such as telehandlers, boom lifts and scissor lifts on customer jobsites and in the shop as needed.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform required repairs, testing repaired equipment for proper performance on customer jobsites and in the shop as needed.
• Provide a high standard of customer service in all interactions with customers.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance, and work orders in a thorough and timely manner.
• Assist with other duties within the branch such as washing and cleaning equipment, organizing the yard, deliveries, answering phones, etc., to support the opening of the new London, ON location.
• Adhere to all company Health and Safety Policies.
