HR Operations Internship
Hitachi Energy Human Resources Operations is seeking for a student that will be managing day-to-day HR activities, such as assisting employee life cycle, facilitating recruitment needs and other HR related support programs.
Your key role will be in participating for the delivery of high-quality services, supporting local business locations, and key stakeholders.
You will perform a variety of complex human resource duties following general direction. You would report to the HR Operations Team Lead based in Canada.
Duration : 6 months
Start date : March 4th, 2024.
Mode of work : Hybrid
Responsibilities
Posting job requisitions externally, internally & various job boards.
Review and filter applications from potential candidates.
Schedule interviews.
Perform background checks.
Manage employee record documents.
Collaborate with HR team members for the effective talent acquisition process.
Update employee records with new hire information and / or changes in employment status.
Regular update the employee life cycle records.
Provide HR administrative assistance as requested.
Actively collaborate with other internal team members.
Provide Tier 1 level support via MyHR (ServiceNow).
Follow up on tickets as needed to ensure SLAs are met.
Qualifications
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Human Resources or another related field.
Familiarity with HR processes and programs
Good organizational skills
Skills to multitask efficiently and the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Great attention-to-detail
Complete understanding to regularly update the human resource databases.
Ability to securely handle employee records.
Bilingual English & French
