A high-frequency trading firm is looking to bring a Reliability Engineer to their Crypto Desk in Montreal. As a key member of the Reliability Engineering team, you'll assist with automating manual tasks and collaborate closely with traders to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities :
- Delivering daily technical support for electronic trading systems across various asset classes.
- Enhancing efficiency by automating manual processes using tools such as Python scripting.
- Collaborating with traders, desk strategists, and application development teams on project-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong grasp of Python programming.
- Proficient in operating systems, especially Unix / Linux.
- Experience in trade support tasks, including system optimization and deployment management.
This is a hybrid position based in their Montreal office, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week.
