The Warehouse Worker General Labour is responsible for receiving goods and preparing shipments. This includes tasks such as storing goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, picking orders, labeling, and packing, all while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
- pick pack put away
- Basic counting required
- Make sure quantity matches what was shipped
- Basic math required
- lift up to 50 LBS
- Operate different types of manual material handling equipment such as pallet truck, carts
- Load and unload cargo
- Use RF scanners to receive shipments, hand pick orders, and transport products as applicable
- Open received boxes and physically count the items to make sure the quantity matches as per the packing list
- Keep records of items received and report for any discrepancies
- Responsible for reporting damaged cargo coming into the warehouse; must be signed for as damaged and the damaged materials must not be shipped.
Both instances must be reported to the warehouse supervisor immediately
- Place labels and stock inventory for received products from vendors
- Sort, organize, and store products in designated areas
- Print and / or check shipping orders
- Accurately pick and pack products in proper carton for shipping
- Mark and label on packages, tags, or products, using marking tools
- Measure, weigh, and physically count products
- Ensure packing / repackaging instructions are followed
- Place packed boxes in specified areas for loading
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, objectives and business ethics
- Practice safe warehouse procedures, identify potential hazards, and recommend improvements where necessary
- Report any work-related injuries or accidents to Supervisor / Manager
- Maintain warehouse in a neat, orderly and efficient fashion
- Various other duties as may be required
Qualifications
- Understanding Of basic Math
- Great English skills verbal and Written
- Experience in general warehousing
