THE ROLE
Imagine spending a week with a great group of kids, playing sports and games, getting creative with arts and crafts - and - getting paid for it!

We are looking for Program Monitors who love being a part of day camps and are now ready to take their first steps into a career in recreation. Each day will be a new experience with a host of activities, including both indoor play and recreation and outside activities. You will get experience in supporting recreational programs and supporting both individuals and groups while ensuring a healthy and safe environment. Above all, your goal is to help the children have fun and have fun yourself.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
Current CPR C and Standard First Aid certification
HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development or HIGH FIVE Sport
HIGH FIVE Healthy Minds for Healthy Children
Experience
In working with children
In leading children in activities
In ensuring safety protocols and procedures
Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset

OTHER INFORMATION
Salary : $19.92 CAD Per Hour
This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check.
