Our client seeks a Level 2 Support Specialist proficient in Mac, Linux, and Ubuntu systems, with expertise in Desktop Central.
Responsibilities include advanced technical support, system administration, and leveraging Desktop Central for efficient endpoint management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide escalated support for Mac, Linux, and Ubuntu, resolving complex issues promptly with Desktop Central.
- Administer system environments, manage user accounts, permissions, and configurations.
- Configure and maintain Desktop Central components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Document procedures and train Level 1 support and end-users on Desktop Central.
- Collaborate across teams, communicate technical information effectively, and optimize system performance.
Requirements :
- Experience working as a Level 2 Support Specialist focusing on Mac, Linux, and Ubuntu.
- Proficiency in Desktop Central for endpoint management, software deployment, and patching.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, familiarity with networking concepts, and IT security practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Certifications like ACSP or LPIC are advantageous.
