Rubicon Organics is seeking an ERP & Data Administrator to support the administration, data integrity, and day-to-day operation of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) ERP environment. This role plays a critical part in the day-to-day administration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring the system is properly supported, users can work effectively, and core ERP processes operate reliably across finance, operations, and cultivation. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, solid ERP and data knowledge, and an interest in growing within Dynamics 365 administration, data governance, or information systems. The role reports to the Information Systems Manager and is based out of our Delta location.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Support & Administration (Dynamics 365 Business Central)
- Provide first-line support to Business Central users experiencing issues related to navigation, data entry, permissions, and system functionality
- Respond to ERP-related inquiries via email, Microsoft Teams, and in-person interactions
- Troubleshoot and resolve Business Central issues in collaboration with IT, finance, operations, and external partners, escalating when required
- Research and implement solutions using Microsoft Learn, Dynamics 365 documentation, partner resources, and online knowledge bases
- Assist in configuring, testing, and validating Business Central process changes, extensions, and setup updates proposed by subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Support user roles, permissions, and environment best practices across sandbox and production environments
Data Integrity, Quality & Reporting
Monitor Business Central data to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential data quality issuesSupport the implementation and monitoring of data validation rules, controls, and reconciliation processesAssist in developing KPIs related to data integrity, master data governance, and system usageMaintain and monitor existing Power BI dashboards connected to Business Central (via OData, APIs, or Dataverse where applicable)Support ERP users with data imports, data corrections, and Power BI reporting based on Business Central dataCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent use of dimensions, posting groups, and master data standardsDocumentation, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Document Business Central issues, resolutions, best practices, and troubleshooting proceduresMaintain logs of user issues and solutions to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvementAssist in documenting Business Central workflows, configurations, and system updatesCollaborate with IT and external partners to support integrations between Business Central and other systems (e.g., payroll, WMS, CRM, reporting tools)Assist in preparing regular reports and analysis related to ERP usage, adoption, and performanceStay current on Dynamics 365 Business Central updates, Power Platform capabilities, and ERP best practicesPerform other related duties as assigned to support business operationsQualifications & Experience
Post-secondary education in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related fieldExperience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems in an administrative or systems support roleStrong understanding of data integrity, data quality, and ERP documentation practicesExperience working with structured ERP data, master data, and transactional systemsFamiliarity with Power BI, Power Platform, or Dataverse is a strong assetStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience in cannabis, CPG, manufacturing, or regulated industries is an asset but not requiredWhat Success Looks Like
