Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial activities encompassing Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Legal Compliance, Cost Analysis, Inventory Management, and Revenue Recognition across multiple corporate entities.
- Spearhead the formulation of budgets and financial projections, analyze discrepancies, and take corrective measures as needed.
- Generate and disseminate accurate monthly financial reports for various corporate entities.
- Manage various facets of financial reporting procedures.
- Investigate and address compliance issues related to technical accounting matters.
- Provide support during month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Uphold rigorous standards for financial transactions and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting requirements at the local, state, and federal levels, including tax filings.
- Establish and document operational procedures and accounting protocols to reinforce internal controls.
- Supervise fixed asset records, oversee acquisitions and disposals, and calculate gains / losses from disposals.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of inter-company transactions on a weekly / monthly basis.
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, Reconciliation, and Leasing teams.
- Liaise with banks to address ad hoc inquiries and comprehend reporting prerequisites.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record in Controller roles
- Over 8 years of comprehensive accounting and finance expertise
- Advanced academic qualification in accounting
- Proficiency in SAP B1 software
- CPA designation
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles and methodologies
- Proficient in crafting financial statements
- Familiarity with general ledger operations and the procedures for month-end / year-end closures
- Proficient user and administrator of accounting software
