The Faculty of Health Sciences is an open, fair, honest, caring and collaborative community that strives to provide a rich education grounded in real world practice, drawing from the knowledge and expertise of multiple health disciplines.PositionThe Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Lethbridge invites applications for sessional (part-time) instructors to teach 6 and/or 12 week clinical courses in the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. QualificationsThe successful candidates must be regulated members, in good standing, with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). The candidates will also have at least five years of nursing practice in acute medical, and surgical settings. Applicants must have a Baccalaureate degree in nursing. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication, mentorship, and organizational skills, and maintain excellent working relationships with all nursing faculty, students, members of the University community and our service delivery partners. Candidates must demonstrate leadership in professional nursing practice in interdisciplinary settings. A thorough and current knowledge of nursing skills, procedures, and equipment related to nursing practice settings is required.
