Southern Irrigation is actively looking for aFull-Time Logistics & Yard Person for our Kamloops location. The successful candidate should should excel in attention to detail, have good communication skills, and a positive attitude.

Job Title : Logistics & Yard Person

Location : 7900 Dallas Drive, Kamloops, BC

Job purpose : This positions primary responsibility is to work in the pipe yard and warehouse organizing and storing inventory, as well as ensuring customer orders are gathered, packaged and sent / delivered accurately, efficiently and safely while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized yard and warehouse
• Operate various types of forklifts to unload / load pipe, septic tanks, concrete risers / basins, filter fabric rolls, etc.
• Accept deliveries in yard and receive incoming POs and transfers
• Store product in designated locations, stock shelves
• Assist with warehouse tasks, including but not limited to :

Loading and unloading customers and stock deliveries
