THE JOB :
- Generate sales through personal contact with walk-in and / or telephone customers, repeat customers and sales leads, providing information on products, pricing and delivery
- Maintain a high level of service to existing customers; managing the customer relationship from contract execution through delivery to after sales service;
and generating additional sales through up selling.
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
- Receive and process customer orders, recommend substitutions, prepare and input sales data and expedite orders
- Process and monitor special orders and update customers
- Assist customers picking up their orders
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
- Endure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures
- Participate in all promotional activities and work with suppliers on counter days
- Participate in all manners of satellite branch operations as required
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous counter sales experience considered an asset
- Someone who can hit the ground running
- Must have the ability to work in a small, fast-paced branch
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Motivated and creative team player
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
- Has a strong work ethic
