Job Summary
The Team
Join our established Provincial Aviation Team, made up of up to seven dedicated professionals during peak fire season. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Aviation Procurement Specialist and connect with teams across the province, including regional fire centres and airtanker operations. The Role
In this role you will be responsible for providing aviation logistics and administrative support for the Provincial Aviation Team at the Provincial Wildfire Coordination Centre (PWCC) as well as support to the 6 Regional Fire Centres. You will work on finalizing Standing Arrangements with over 120 suppliers, receiving and processing invoices for a variety of aviation services, data entry, creating and updating documents used provincially, as well as functioning as the rostered Provincial Aviation Logistics Officer (PALO) during fire season. This is a great opportunity to gain administrative, contract, and aviation logistics experience and support emergency response efforts that directly impact communities.

About this Position
Flexible work options are available; this temporary (auxiliary) opportunity starts approximately February 2026 and ends 10 / 26 / 2026, with possibility of recall on a yearly basis. This position may be extended. An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary vacancies. A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required. Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
