Our client, a well-established and growing organization in the Durham Region, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and strengthen their human resources function. This HR Manager role is highly visible and hands‑on, ideal for a business‑minded HR Manager who can balance strategic leadership with operational execution.
The HR Manager will :
- Lead the full HR lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership as the organization’s primary HR Manager for employee relations and people strategy
- Manage workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and compliance with Ontario employment legislation
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and HR programs
- Oversee compensation, benefits administration, and workforce planning initiatives
- Partner with leadership on change management, culture development, and employee engagement
- Track HR metrics and reporting to support data‑driven decisions
HR Manager – Qualifications
CHRP or CHRL designation (required)5+ years of progressive experience in an HR Manager , Senior HR Generalist, or HR leadership roleStrong working knowledge of Ontario employment standards, labour relations, and HR best practicesProven experience managing complex employee relations matters as an HR ManagerStrong communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skillsExperience in manufacturing, distribution, operations, or multi‑site environments is an assetWhy Join as HR Manager
