ABOUT
St. Helen's School in Burnaby is currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and faith-filled full-time Grade 5 teacher for the upcoming 2024–25 school year . We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative environment, and with two grade 4 classes, our teachers have the opportunity to work closely together in planning and implementing engaging curriculum.
Our school boasts a comprehensive Catholic educational program, which includes enriching experiences such as field trips. One notable excursion is a three-day outdoor education program at Evan's Lake at the start of the academic year. Additionally, students participate in a curriculum-aligned Indigenous program to deepen their understanding and appreciation of Indigenous cultures.
We are looking for a candidate who not only possesses a strong grasp of educational technology but also demonstrates adaptability in tailoring lessons to accommodate the diverse learning needs of our students. Experience in these areas will be highly valued.
