Job descriptionCompletion of a bachelor’s degree or college diploma in hospitality, food and beverage service management, or in a related field such as business, psychology, or communications, combined with a minimum of 3-4 years of managerial experience in the food service industry, is required. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential to uphold Edo Japan’s service standards and team performance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required, along with the ability to generate operational reports such as sales summaries, staffing schedules, and inventory tracking. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software is an asset. Strong written communication skills are necessary for internal documentation, training materials, and correspondence with head office. Have completed these certifications : First Aid, CPR, Safe Food Handling, WHMIS Fast-paced environment Repetitive tasks Attention to detail Dependability Excellent oral communication Ability to multitask Client focus Team player

Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate daily operations of the restaurant.
- Manage staff performance, scheduling, and training.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Implement health and safety procedures in compliance with provincial regulations.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
- Prepare budgets, cost estimates, and operational reports.
- Coordinate with head office on promotional campaigns and business updates.
