Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Building Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and functionality of our facility. This role involves managing a variety of maintenance tasks, supervising maintenance staff, and ensuring all building systems operate efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and experience with management and project coordination. Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily building maintenance activities, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and low voltage systems.
- Ensure all gym equipment are maintained in optimal conditions.
- Manage maintenance schedules using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Schedule annual PMs with contractors.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment using schematics, mechanical knowledge, and electrical experience.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with management on facility improvements and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilize knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automation systems when necessary.
Experience
Proven supervisory or management experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance settings.Strong background in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and industrial maintenance with hands‑on troubleshooting skills.Experience working with schematics, control systems, PLCs, and low voltage wiring.Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and documentation.Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and reporting.Prior experience supervising maintenance teams or managing complex projects is highly desirable.Job Type
