Position Overview
Virtual Event Analyst focusus on virtual events (including webcasting, webinars, video conference unit (VCU)) audio, video and lighting engineering and their role encompasses the set-up of equipment, facilitation of technical equipment for the event, and the strike of the equipment.
Key Job Responsibilities
Event Pre-Production
- Advance planning with client to recommend appropriate solutions on-site
- Liaise with internal team resources to develop solutions and technical configurations
- Loading Content onto media servers, computers
- Project / production management of all events
- Preparing, labeling and scanning equipment as required
- Load / unload gear and equipment
- Consult with internal and customer stakeholders regarding their virtual event needs to determine what solutions are required to help make the programs successful.
- Arrange for the appropriate resources such as video cameras, switchers, encoders, audio systems, microphones and production talent.
- Schedule all pertinent logistics, conduct thorough testing and dry runs, and ensure all operations run smoothly during the live shows.
- Provide leadership that will proactively help make each event a success.
- Conduct technical reviews and training with remote presenters in each region as needed, test audio and video technologies used - promoting the highest production standards.
Event Execution
Provide an outstanding customer experience when in liaison with client and / or venue staffInstall, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and replace network and AV systems and equipment for both live events and conference rooms, for all sizes of eventsOperate and maintain all formats of equipment and provide expertise and guidance to the clientProvide on-site guidance for crew as requiredEnsure all venue safety requirements and supplier protocols are adhered toFlexibility to accommodate and deliver last minute changes to meeting requirementsProvide feedback to management with respect to client satisfactionDevelop and document standards and operating proceduresActively participate in the production of live webcasts, sometimes as director and sometimes as crew.Alternately serves as webcast director or webcast crew during live webcasts. Must be able to set up and run a live video webcast with speakers in person or on remote location as required. Works closely with the entire production team at remote locations to insure the highest quality technical and creative standards.Knows and can quickly and calmly apply contingency plans for dealing with common problems that can occur during a webcast.Records webcasts. Edits, tests and archives all productions.Additional responsibilities include serving as video and audio technical support for additional digital programs, such as podcasts. Is familiar with current editing hardware and software needed to produce high quality, creative programming quickly and consistently.Equipment

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in audio visual Media Support and live event / broadcasting.Extensive knowledge of current Audio / Visual and conferencing (phone and video) support experience including webcast and streaming media technology.Strong professional presence with the discretion, poise and maturity to deal with confidential information (self‑motivated, flexible, punctual and well organized)Customer focused, service oriented and quality driven. The compensation offered for this role is determined based on the qualifications outlined in the job posting for the specified location. Final compensation is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant work experience, or particular skills and expertise.
Work Environment
Warehouse
Work is performed at event venues as well as in a warehouse environment. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by ENCORE based in a warehouse environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area. When in the Warehouse, work will be completed in an environment with exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and / or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members may use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components. Working times may include irregular hours and on‑call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
