Senior Project Technologist

The Senior Project Technologist position is ideal for someone looking for career advancement and professional growth, including an opportunity to develop into a Project Manager role.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with relevant Ontario regulations and have at least 3-5 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.

Your Role at Pinchin

  • Environmental drilling and test pitting for stratigraphic and hydrogeological data collection
  • Water quality and quantity testing for site condition assessments and remedial option development
  • Assist in the training and mentorship of junior / intermediate project technologists
  • Support coordination and logistics for large-scale environmental field programs
  • Prepare and edit technical reports
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other potentially involved stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships

What you bring to the Pinchin team

  • Post-Secondary Education, Diploma in Environmental Science considered an asset
  • 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in Ontario
  • Excellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153 / 04
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Availability to travel for work when required
  • Availability to work outside core business hours
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
