The Senior Project Technologist position is ideal for someone looking for career advancement and professional growth, including an opportunity to develop into a Project Manager role.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with relevant Ontario regulations and have at least 3-5 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.
Your Role at Pinchin
- Environmental drilling and test pitting for stratigraphic and hydrogeological data collection
- Water quality and quantity testing for site condition assessments and remedial option development
- Assist in the training and mentorship of junior / intermediate project technologists
- Support coordination and logistics for large-scale environmental field programs
- Prepare and edit technical reports
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other potentially involved stakeholders
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships
What you bring to the Pinchin team
- Post-Secondary Education, Diploma in Environmental Science considered an asset
- 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in Ontario
- Excellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Working knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153 / 04
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Availability to travel for work when required
- Availability to work outside core business hours
- Valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
