Diesel Engine Mechanic

Taber Diesel Services is actively seeking a skilled Certified Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic service team in Lethbridge. You will work on a diverse fleet of commercial trucks, construction equipment, and heavy machinery within our state-of-the-art, fully equipped facility.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and extensive knowledge in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of diesel fuel injection systems. This includes expertise in inline rotary and common rail pumps, along with injectors and related components. If you are ready to take on this challenge, we want to hear from you!

• Identifying and resolving issues with fuel injection systems, including pumps, injectors, and related components for proper performance
• Performing routine maintenance work on equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, as well as overhauling fuel injection systems
• Utilizing specialized testing equipment and calibrating fuel injection components to ensure they meet performance standards
• Performing repair work by replacing damaged or worn-out parts, including injectors, pumps, and other related component
• Maintaining accurate records of repairs, calibrations, and other relevant data
• Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
