About the Opportunity :

We are hiring compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) on behalf of our client, a reputable healthcare provider in Brampton. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing quality care and support to seniors and individuals with physical or cognitive challenges in residential, community, or long-term care settings.

Key Responsibilities :

Client Care

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
Support mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental and emotional well-being

Health Monitoring

Monitor and report changes in client health and behavior

Assist with medication reminders and adherence as per care plan

Home Support

Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry duties

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients

Documentation & Communication

Maintain accurate records of care provided

Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and their families

Work Schedule :

Full-time availability, including weekends and holidays

Day, evening, or night shifts depending on client needs

Qualifications :

Completion of a PSW certificate or equivalent recognized training

CPR and First Aid certification

Minimum 6 months of relevant experience (in Canada)

Minimum 3 years of experience (outside Canada)

English proficiency with CLB 6 or higher

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Compassionate, patient, and reliable

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits :

Competitive hourly wage : $25.00 – $28.00
