Medical Radiation Technologist
Job Description
The Saskatchewan Health Authority is hiring for MRT opportunities including CT positions and Nuclear Medicine Technologists in Regina, SK.
Performs a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology.
Specialty disciplines are mammography, angiography and computerized tomography.
Job Qualifications
Medical Radiation Technology Diploma. Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Registered with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
Registered with Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT). Mammography, Angiography or Computerized Tomography training / certificate may be required for specialty positions.
Drug administration and intravenous injection training, where required by the job.
Experience : Twenty-four months previous experience as a general duty Medical Radiation Technologist. New graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
