Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Automation and Mechatronics Specialist to join our team in Burnaby, BC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in PLC and embedded systems integration, programming, and field service installation. If you’re a problem‑solver with a passion for automation, apply now.

Pay Rate : $45 – $55 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)

Shift : Full‑time position with approved overtime when required

What You’ll Be Doing

PLC and Embedded Systems Integration – Programming, HMI creation, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting

Field Service Installation & Maintenance – Travel as needed to install and repair systems

Technical Documentation – Prepare manuals, procedures, and service reports

Project Management & Collaboration – Work closely with project managers, technicians, and regulatory bodies

What You’ll Need to Qualify

PLC Programming & HMI Creation (Opto22 or Siemens S7‑1200 experience is an asset)

Mechatronics Technologist / Engineer Certification (or equivalent hands‑on experience)

C, C++, or C# programming familiarity is a plus

Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude

Ability to use hand tools, multi‑meters, and oscilloscopes

Valid Driver’s License for local travel

Ability to travel internationally, including to the US
