• About The Opportunity
• Position Summary This position involves driving a powered industrial truck equipped with forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse or factory The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
• Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Loads and unloads skids / pallets on / off trailers and transports to various areas within the plant
• Places and removes skids from assigned bunks in safe manner
• Ensures counts are accurate on materials being received and shipped
• Wraps and straps completed skids from production line
• May be required to work on the production assembly line
• Exercises care for the safety of personnel, property and materials at all times
• Enters data into company systems as directed
• Completes daily maintenance check on the equipment and reports issues / problems to Manager
• Cleans up work area at the end of the shift as directed
• Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience
• Valid Forklift Licence
• Education & Experience Requirements
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer literate in word and excel applications
• Knowledge of warehouse software applications
• Knowledge of Shipping and receiving documentation
• Knowledge of inventory would be an asset
• Physical Requirements & Work Environment
• Primarily works in a factory and / or warehouse setting
• Position may be based at Menasha Packaging site or customer location
