Job Overview
The Outlets Supervisor oversees the daily food & beverage operations of the hotel’s outlets, ensuring high-quality service, smooth coordination of staff, and adherence to Nova’s hospitality and safety standards. This role requires availability for a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Duties
The Outlets Supervisor is responsible for :
- Supervising, coordinating, and supporting the activities of staff in the hotel’s outlets (restaurant, lounge, bar, café, room service).
- Ensuring smooth day-to-day service, guest satisfaction, and adherence to food service standards.
- Training staff in job duties, sanitation, workplace safety, and Nova Hotels’ service expectations.
- Creating, updating, and adjusting work schedules and service procedures as needed.
- Communicating professionally with guests, staff, management, and A / V partners to support seamless service delivery.
- Monitoring outlet operations to ensure clean, organized, and efficient service areas.
- Assisting with inventory control, estimating supply needs, and reporting low stock levels.
- Maintaining records of sales, stock, waste, and repairs as required.
- Handling cash, POS systems, and end-of-shift reconciliation when assigned.
- Addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when needed.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health & safety policies.
- Supporting other food & beverage operations (banquets, catering) when required.
- Performing additional related duties to support the department and guest experience.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous supervisory experience in food & beverage or hospitality required.Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to lead by example.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to organize staff, manage competing priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of food safety, workplace safety, and sanitation procedures.Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule based on business levels.Work Conditions
