As a Project Controller on Pomerleau's Major Projects team, you'll play a key role in organizing and overseeing the control activities of our major projects.

Working on large-scale projects - ranging from $ million to over $1 billion, you'll be the subject matter expert on content management, cost control, risk, and project schedules.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor individual objectives : planning, managing, and retaining resources.
  • Prepare the project management chart and monitor performance indicators - cost, schedule, earned value, etc.
  • Support project management in the contractual management of the main contract and in change management.
  • Ensure proper communication of changes and evolving risks across departments.
  • Set up appropriate monitoring tools between cost control and the schedule to track progress and earned value.
  • Responsibility for project budget recalibration.
  • Risks : Facilitate the animation and continuous improvement of the risk management process, including organization of review meetings, follow-up of action plans and communication of major risks.
  • Organize, update and monitor contractual deliverables.
  • Monitor the production of mandatory registers and reports.
  • Organization and participation in the drafting of various project reports : information searches, reminders - implementation of processes and automations.
  • Deployment of Major Projects system tools on your project, while ensuring their proper use and promotion.

This role could be for you if you have

  • Engineering or university degree in business administration or other relevant field.
  • 6 years' experience in project control in the construction industry.
  • Excellent command of the Office suite.
  • Good ability to adapt to IT tools - Knowledge of P6.
  • SAP and InEight would be a plus.
  • Bilingualism English French.
  • Experience in communicating with diverse teams.
  • Rigor and organizational skills, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication skills.
  • Project management skills.
