Job Summary :
With the multi-year Payments Modernization (PayMod) program in flight, your development efforts will directly impact the payments ecosystem, creating a faster, more flexible and secure payments infrastructure that will put Canada at the leading edge of global payments.
What you'll be doing :
- Write great code
- Understand business problems we've solving and technical issues to find new solutions
- Participate in code reviews and business / technical discussions
- Contribute to daily / weekly agile ceremonies
- Design and complete complex software enhancements proficiently with a high level of quality
What you'll have :
- You have a university degree in computer science or software engineering (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of relevant experience in software engineering
- A strong knowledge of Mulesoft and its ecosystem (Anypoint platform, Anypoint Studio, Cloudhub or Runtime Fabrics)
- Experience designing API specs using RAML, OpenAPI or other API modeling language and the lifecycle of APIs.
- Experience implementing Mulesoft applications with connectors and complex data transformation
- Experience with integration, architecture concepts, including API-Led, SOAP, REST, and integration patterns (Sync / Async, Batch, Pub-Sub, etc.).
- Experience with scaling software solutions; high availability, distributed environments, replication, failover, etc.
- Knowledge of version control systems and continuous integration systems (Git, Jenkins).
- Skills to dig into challenging technical problems and complex applications without getting stuck
- A love for Munit and clean code
- Team player with a high sense of accountability and ownership
- Java / spring experience
Nice-to-have :
- Preferably MuleSoft Certified (MCD - Mule 4)
- Banking experience
- Runtime Fabrics Experience
- Familiar with agile / scrum software development methodology.
- Experience with DevOps tools and Azure
- Willing to ask / pull people for information and help
Salary : $107,800
The salary range represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role. The actual salary will vary depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education / training.
