Crown Reach and Counter Balance Forklift Operator - APLPP

Armor People Link is currently hiring Crown Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for a Brampton-based manufacturing client specializing in plastic food packaging. The facility is conveniently located near the Queen and Rutherford intersection.

Shift Schedule (Bi-Weekly Rotational - Mandatory)
Candidates must be available to work all shifts. Shift selection is not available.
Morning Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM | $24.00/hour
Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:15 PM | $24.00/hour + $0.75/hour shift premium
Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:15 AM | $24.00/hour + $1.25/hour shift premium

PLEASE NOTE- *The client is looking for candidates who are available to work Full-time and are not attending school. The candidate MUST be available to work on a bi-weekly rotating shift schedule.*

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Safely operate lift trucks for transporting and shipping materials
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials
- Supply raw materials to departments as needed
- Locate materials in the warm room and the warehouse
- Wrap skids in preparation for shipment
- Conduct daily lift truck circle checks, and ensure the related form is completed
- Ensure the cleanliness of immediate and surrounding work areas
- Adhere to standard operating procedures as outlined within the shipping department
- Promote a safe work environment, complying with all health & safety and environmental regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
- 3 years of experience on Crown Reach, Counterbalance, and Lift Trucks with a valid forklift license
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prior work experience of working different shifts will be an asset (preferably experience with night shifts)
- Must be eligible to work legally full- time in Canada without the requirement of PR support by the employer
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend information and instructions in English
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
- Good organizational and prioritization skills
Qualifications:
SELECTION CRITERIA:
An interview will be conducted by Armor consultant
Qualified candidates will be presented further to our client for a forklift test and an interview at the client's location
Final decision will be taken by our client for successful on-boarding of suitable candidates
Police clearance check is a MUST
Covid-19 Double vaccination status is required
