Production/Warehouse Manager

We currently have an opening for an ambitious Production / Warehouse Manager , in our Surrey branch. This full-time position offers tremendous growth opportunities, including diverse projects, supported career development, and potential for advancement.

As a Production / Warehouse Manager , you will be responsible to :

• Effectively coordinate and manage the production, manufacturing, and warehouse departments by monitoring day to day activities, tracking inventory / resources, and optimizing the efficiency of operations;
• Consistently provide value to our customers by ensuring the product is delivered on time, within budget, and in conformance with CPD’s quality standards;
• Oversee a team of 12-14 staff including, fabricators, shippers and receivers, and hardware itemizers;
• Ensure staff are supported and trained to meet the current and future needs of the departments, as well as assisting with the recruitment of new team members as the growth of the branch requires;
• Maintain relations between departments and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders;
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the safety requirements and quality control practices of the workplace and verify protocols are properly followed;
• Provide leadership, act as a CPD ambassador, and consistently set a strong example for team members.

Your Experience :

• Ideally, you bring 3-5+ years of experience in a similar supervisory role in the commercial construction industry;
• Broad technical knowledge in hollow metal door fabrication and hardware;
• Proven people management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
• Warehouse experience and overall familiarity of Division 8 and 10 scopes of work is considered a strong asset.
