Process Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Your role within the team :

• Prepare and / or review design documents for Nuclear Power Plants e.g. Design Calculation Design Requirements Assessments Technical Specifications Drawings Bill of Materials and System Code Classification.
• Develop and implement Plant Outage Plans Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Procedures Systematic Assessment of Maintenance and FMEA procedures and techniques and proactively work out and implement plant specific methodologies to assess equipment condition monitoring single point vulnerability predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to mitigate the long- and short-term risks.
• Perform technical review of process flow sheets detail drawings equipment arrangement / layouts as well as sizing and selection of mechanical components related to nuclear steam plants with specific focus on ensuring the maintenance-based design features and ease of plant operation and equipment maintenance requirements are fully met.
• Performing design / analysis of hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineers at lower grade levels and / or other technical employees.
• Ensure adherence to company quality program.
• Ensure applicable code standards and regulatory requirements are met.
• Support Engineering Management with timely updates on engineering progress.
• Perform walkdowns attend site visits and meetings as required.
